Stadsschouwburg Utrecht Concerts

This theater is one of my favorite theaters in Holland. Pay attention to the architecture, the surroundings and interior design, even the toilet space. The café serves simple and delicious food. Every May, the Spring festival is definitely a good opportunity for a few days in Utrecht.

Nice theater location, also for kids. The cafetaria menu on the ground floor is a bit limited though. And there was only one available diaper changing room which is an issue on a Miffy musical 😂

Well, my reaction to this place is mixed in the extreme. Sightlines are great. Acoustics are splendid. But the seats, good lord, the seats. Absolutely no legroom whatsoever. These seats make the cheap seats on the discount airline feel like a barcalounger. I was folded up knees to chin like a Peruvian mummy. By and by I couldn't stand anymore and got up to leave, but my legs were so numb I fell down with a big embarrassing thud. A kind young lady bent over and asked if I needed help, which was very sweet but absolutely mortifying. Now, granted, I'm a pretty big guy but the Dutch aren't short people and I wonder why this hasn't been a bigger issue. Anyway, I doubt that I'll go to anymore concerts here.

Municipal Theatre Utrecht Netherlands Film Festival 23rd of September 2021. I just passed by and saw this beautiful outdoor illumination with the fountain and the trees. And i liked it so i stopped and took some photos and a video. Hope You join it. Nice art installation. Wow Cool.
