The Civic Concerts 2025

This is always such a great venue. Firstly, it is beautiful, and there is always something to look at with the beautiful Indian theme. I love the twinkling star lights on the roof. It is always VERY well staffed, and the staff are always very kind and helpful. Such a beautiful venue. We are so lucky to have it in Auckland.

G'day, legends! Let me spin ya a yarn about the Auckland Civic, eh? This place ain't just any ol' cinema joint, nah mate, it's like steppin' into a whole new world of entertainment! Picture this: me and the crew roll up, and straight away, we're greeted by this grandiose facade that's lit up like a Christmas tree. It's like the Colosseum of cinemas, I'm tellin' ya! Now, once we're inside, it's like we've stepped into another dimension. The foyer's decked out with these swanky chandeliers and plush carpets that make ya feel like royalty. And the staff? Couldn't be more friendly if they tried, mate! They're chucking smiles and helpful tips left, right, and center. But the real magic happens when you hit them seats, mate. I'm talkin' recliners that massage ya back while you're watching the latest flick! And the screens? Big enough to make ya feel like you're part of the action, mate. We were glued to our seats from start to finish, I swear down. And as for the snacks? Oh, mate, don't even get me started! They've got everything from your classic popcorn to gourmet hot dogs that'll make ya taste buds do a happy dance. I reckon I spent more time munchin' than watchin', if I'm bein' honest! So, if you're after a top-notch night out that'll leave ya grinnin' from ear to ear, you best believe the Auckland Civic's the place to be. Trust me, ya won't be disappointed, cobbers!

Very beautiful inside the theater. Looks like a Taj mahal. The Civic is an Auckland landmark and is one of the few remaining atmospheric theatres in the world. Theatre is a large heritage combination performing-arts theatre, live-music venue, and cinema seating 2,378 people in Auckland.

Went on the theatre tour. Our guide James was fantastic. Very informative and funny. I went to the Civic in my youth but had no idea about the history and behind the scenes. Totally recommend this tour. Thanks James
