Had totally forgotten how cool this place was, as it's been a few years since my last visit! Staff were amazing and totally seemless with entry into the venue! The queue was all the way down to the lights, and yet it moved so quickly. Bar staff were fantastic and really friendly. The ladies selling the merchandise were busy right throughout the concert, and stock sold out quickly. Fabulous night out, and this was Nothing But Thieves first time to New Zealand, with a second night added after selling out the venue. I was really surprised by the crowd, who were a really widespread bunch of fan's, but very well behaved and sang along happily to every song. From the lead singer's comment's, they will certainly be back again! Thanks Powerstation!!!

Love this venue! The first time I went here was 25 years ago. Stunning photographs don the walls in a way which encapsulates spectacular musical genius and further promotes this unique live music venue with a genuine quality that most seem to lack these days. The sound quality is fantastic and all areas have good visibility of the stage. This is a venue dedicated to the musicians and those who desire a fairly intimate experience to soak up their performance. The first band I saw here was No Doubt and last weekend it was Beth Orton, with many spectacular bands in between. If there's a band you want to see and they're playing here, go!

This is a good mixed age-group concert venue. My experience of it was a little lacking in any viable refreshments for the upstairs section. I'd also suggest having some raised seating boxes or even stepped standing area to allow viewing of the stage by more than just the privileged front-row audience. The sound on the top floor toward the bathroom was pretty bad tbh (tonight anyway), lacking tops. After all that criticism one would think the rating would be lower, but actually, we had a good time even with the challenges.

Honestly such a cool venue, recently went here to watch five play which was such a good night. About 7 months back I was also here watching Morgan Evan’s and that was also fab. The venue makes the gig feel more immersive. Top tip: if you’re finding it too hot downstairs, head upstairs to the balcony the aircon/fans feel glorious!
