Christchurch Town Hall Concerts

Awesome venue. Great acoustics

Finally this city got world class venue ! After renovation Town Hall has been rebuilt to a modern, beautiful , functional venue with good facilities and amazing acoustics. Since reopening we have been to several performances and it never disappoints. Seats are very comfortable and cozy , best quality of all public venues in the city. Enough bathrooms and waiting areas. The only improvement I could think of is the get more ushers or replace the QR scanning with something more faster as the old ladies struggle to scan the tickets and it takes forever to enter , creating bottlenecks and long queues to enter

Went there to see Highly Suspect, the band was always going to be amazing, but the venue certainly did make it, the lighting was world class the toilet facilities were functional and the acoustics were next level.

Christchurch Town Hall has excellent accoustics. It's a great place for concerts, whether they are classical or pop concerts. The venue itself is excellent. The only thing that might let it down is, if you're wanting a nice pre event drink of your choice, there's only one brand of beer available. I'm all for supporting local, but there should be other choices available as well.

Very impressive building set on a beautiful scene. Walk on red carpets: enjoy art, music and theatre at this one of a kind set. Definitely worth having a strole through if your just in the area.
