San Fran Concerts 2025

Mint venue for seeing bands. Loved this place went to see Canadian band Dead South. It's a poper smaller venue for music lovers. Great beer selection, nice servers and great acoustics.

Arrived for The Doors Alive Tribute, it is a good venue but my honest opinion is it is little dated, large queues for the bar when popular events are on stage, staff are friendly but as it is a single stage in an open plan room it can be rather busy and a little crowded to navigate between bar, seating/standing floor areas and toilets. As I said, we visited for The Doors Alive tribute act and it was a fantastic show with excellent sound quality, which is a major positive and also why I gave a solid 4 stars.

First time at the San Fran & thoroughly enjoyed our night at Peter Hook & the Light. Thank you to the owner & staff for proving a great bar & venue. A lovely intimate medium sized venue & great location. The balcony is lovely & was appreciated after the gig to cool down on before heading out. Look forward to our next event here.

Ticket said 7 pm. Got there at 6.45. Despite the cold and strong wind doors not opened till after 7.30 pm. Why state 7 pm on the ticket ? Not enough seats and waited till 8.30 for band. Band was excellent . Don't advise on ticket start of 7 pm and make people wait in cold so long . Staff lovely venue okay , needs more chairs and a revamp though. Will never come back ! Having to wait outside in cold for management to decide to let people in when they advertise 7pm is not on.

Probably the most swell place in wellington! Love eyegum music collection gigs every wednesday and the staffs are absolutely fantastic, love LOVES them all.
