We've just returned from a stay at this hotel and highly recommend. Staff extremely welcoming, friendly, helpful. The hotel itself has great facilities, location perfect for getting around and the underground car park an added bonus. Food and drinks offering very good (especially breakfast).

The hotel is so big and was lack of staffing maybe because it’s winter time (February). Facilities was not well maintained, a lot of light bulbs in hallway were out. And the swimming pool was hard to find. It’s kind of scary to walk in the hallway at night time. Breakfast was ok. The hotel feels a little outdated. It feels like a four star hotel, not five stars at all. Well it’s cheap anyway, comparing to the price it’s good, you pay what you get. The dinner restaurant was really good! Best food I had during my vacation. The spa place is free for diamond member, I didn’t use but I went for a look. I hope they would have separated male and female, I don’t feel comfortable to sit in a tiny sauna space with men.

The breakfast experience was exceptional, offering a vast array of hot and cold dishes. The presence of a chef ready to prepare eggs to your liking adds a personalized touch. Guests have the option to dine either inside or outdoors, basking in the pleasant Portuguese sun. The breakfast staff deserves special mention for their friendly and attentive service. The spa is a highlight, featuring multiple pools and saunas. It’s an expansive and serene space that offers true relaxation. For those travelling with a rental car, the hotel's provision of free parking in their garage is a thoughtful and convenient amenity. The hotel also offers free shuttle to the lovely marina with plenty of shops and restaurants. In conclusion, the Hilton Vilamoura Hotel & Spa is a superb choice, particularly for Hilton Elite members. It delivers great value and a luxurious experience, making it a top recommendation for travellers seeking comfort and quality in Vilamoura.

We holeheartedly give Hilton Vilamoura As Cascatas Golf Resort & Spa a well-deserved 5-star rating for exceeding our expectations during our family stay. The spacious and beautifully appointed apartment had everything we needed for a perfect holiday, and everything was impeccably maintained. The highlight was undoubtedly the fantastic breakfast buffet, offering a delightful array of choices. The large playground for children and the indoor pool added to the overall appeal, creating a truly 5-star atmosphere that made our stay exceptional. We extended our visit because of the incredible comfort the hotel provided. While the location might receive 5 stars for golf enthusiasts, having a car gave us the flexibility to explore the serene surroundings. The area is wonderfully tranquil, making it a perfect escape. Considering the reasonable pricing, we feel we received excellent value for our money. It all aligns seamlessly, and we would unquestionably choose Hilton Vilamoura again if our travels bring us to this region. Highly recommended!

Check in took 25 minutes even though there was only one person in front of me. The bell person just stood there looking at my bags, then when I finally got the key, he left. Paid for a golf course view - got a parking lot view. Really. Asked to change rooms. Offered a pool view - but 10 EUR more per night. Whatever. So... check-in sucked. That night, I had drinks and takeaway food from Rubi (the bar). Got food (one item) up to the room and realized they prepared it incorrectly. Didn't feel like going back down, so I set the order aside and dealt with it the next morning. Brought the uneaten food down to Rubi, but staff said to deal with it at front desk; front desk said to deal with it at Rubi. Front desk person then asked me a) what very specifically was wrong with the food and then commented on the lack of seriousness of my concern; b) asked me why I didn't go back downstairs to deal with it at the time - told him I was tired -- this jerk had the nerve to then look in the computer and argue with me about the time I ordered the food - as if to say it wasn't very late so why was I tired. Then he told me there is nothing that could be done. Asked for the manager again - 10 minutes goes by and now the Rubi guy, the front desk guy and the F&B manager are huddled together in a meeting... I was asked to take a seat in the lobby while it was being discussed. F&B manager finally came over and said he'd take it off the bill. Wow. Why put me through all that it? I almost never leave negative reviews - but this was a discomfort I could have lived without. Between this and the upcharge from a clearly inferior room just added to a really petty Hilton experience. Room and bathroom were lovely. Free shuttle was a nice featiure and perfectly punctual every time. Really great breakfast. But heck - train your staff to be efficient and not intrusive/rude do-nothings.
