Pestana Cidadela Cascais Concerts 2024

Our recent stay at Pestana Cidadela Cascais was wonderful. The service of the front desk excellent, it was amazing that the kind gentleman who checked us in walked us right to our room. The rooms are a little tired and could use a re-fresh. The housekeeping staff barely cleaned, we only had 1 glass for two people, even after requesting a 2nd. There were stairs in the room which might be hazardous for anyone with mobility issues. The rooms that face west are extremely hot and the A/C does not work properly to cool them. These are the ONLY negatives, because the Location is Fantastic! When you arrive you think you are staying in a Castle. The hotel is right next to a marina with wonderful restaurants and shops. The art surrounding the public areas of the hotel are amazing. There is even art displayed for sale in the lobby. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Very beautiful hotel, rooms are big, clean, light and beautifully decorated. Staff is very friendly and caring. It’s central in Cascais with a view over the harbour. Close to the center, close to the beach. Breakfast was wonderful. Would really recommend this hotel and know for sure I’m gonna visit again.

We were at the hotel for only one night, but it was an exceptional one. The staff members were so accommodating. We happened to be there for my birthday, and without my knowing it, they noted that it was my birthday when they reviewed my passport, and at breakfast that morning, I got a brownie with a candle in it. I was so moved by that - they went above and beyond and were exceptionally kind and caring. Wonderful hotel!

Friendly, lovely, well trained staff! Incredible location, terrific art and architecture. The here is terrific . We ate there two times. One lunch, which was marvelous. We had baby potato skins , garlic grilled shrimp a cheese which was very runny with delicious bread. Dinner on another day proceeded by a glass of wine sitting in the art filled square. A cool evening and fish stew for main course with breads oven backed filled with a cheese and chorizo. And dessert was out of this world apple tart with vanilla ice cream. Oh5.0 ++Experience

Gorgeous location and a lovely blend of tradition and modern with an artsy feel. Service levels are not quite at an international standard. Housekeeping needs attention. Laundry prices are exorbitant Busy breakfast area and it’s disordered. Hasan, the waiter in the indoor lounge is excellent. He’s very friendly and skilled. The outdoor lunch and dinner area is appealing but the food is average for this type of hotel and I’m not a fussy traveller or eater. The high point is its location to the ocean, the marina and the old city.
