Imperial Ballrooms (One Club) Concerts

I've been here to a jazz festival. Unfortunately, the acoustics left a lot to be desired. The audio system is good, but the location itself wasn't suitable for this kind of event. Also, the drink list was very poor. I could hardly choose a gin tonic made with Gordon's ( which is not one of my favourites, at all).

If you see a bunch of 5 star reviews with no actual comments, then it’s because they literally ask you to put them 5 stars before entrance to the party. It’s a bit sketchy in my opinion, the lady at the entrance literally checked if I put 5 stars or not 😅 I went there on Wednesday on girl’s night, and local celebrity was playing Manele. Overall, it was very nice, it’s spacious and packed with people. Drinks were overpriced, but it was expected from a place like this. I think it does deserve 4-5 stars, I enjoyed it a lot.

Terrible. Went there for a party, paid for the ticket and at the door i get met with “you need to pay 50 ron to cover your consumption” ok, i pay that. And at the wardrobe i need to pay another 10 ron to leave my jacket. When i wanted to go outside to smoke i went to the wardrobe to get my jacket and was told “i can only give it to you when you leave definitively because it’s going to mess up everything here”, i decided to go out without my jacket and was met with “you can’t go outside, take an ashtray and smoke inside”. Like what? Not to mention that me and my friend had 4 tokens, each at the value of 25 ron that we were forced to buy and we were only able to buy 4 shots in total. 25 ron for a shot that felt like didn’t have any alcohol.

This is a good place for a wedding or baptism, because the setting is pretty nice. On the other hand, the surroundings are not that great. At all! Also, it is a little bit difficult to get to the main entrance unless you know how to get to the parking. The food is not great either, but eatable. All in all, it is an ok-ish place for events

Big venue for different events. Staff is super welcoming. The only drawback is that it doesn't have a technical elevator and it's a heck of a challenge for any human because it has countless stairs.
