Sala Radio Concerts

Had the opportunity to go to the Rotaru, Mozart & Strauss concert by Adela Liculescu, Jessica Cottis and Orchestra Națională Radio. It was absolutely magnificent and their performance was otherworldly. Highly recommend this to anyone looking to go to a classical/instrumental music concert while in town. Tickets are affordable for pretty much any budget (can be purchased online) and the experience is priceless.

The details, the acoustic, and the sounds!!! It's definitely worth visiting for a concert, although the one I've chosen for my visit was not exactly on my taste. But I could still enjoy a night out with friends and admire the cultural details of this place 👍 We managed to find parking on a road nearby, and there are pubs and restaurants around if you get there too early and want to kill some time.

A nice space for theatre, musicals and other stage events. Looked like seating for roughly 1000 people. The 70s decor was a bit dated but seemed to be generally well maintained. The seating is comfortable and the acoustics favourable. They have cloakroom facilities. I didn't see a bar or dining facilities (but possible I missed them). There were well stocked vending machines in the lobby but not enough of them for the venue size and they ran out quickly. Toilet facilities were basic and smelled bad. On the whole a pleasant experience and I would return.

If you like quality music whether is classic, jazz or choral, Sala Radio is having one of the best acustic in Bucharest.

Great audition! Large with many comfortable seats, with space between raws - for your feet so that you stay comfortable during the show and also spaces in the raws for passing so that when you go to/from your seat you do not disturb too many people. You would say these are normal rules but the refurbished or new concert/ theater halls that I’ve seen recently do not respect these rules. “Sala Radio” is probably the best concert hall in Bucharest, and its staff is kind and polite.
