Awesome!! The building is beautiful, both outside and inside. The employees are nice and helpful, even if the place is crowded at the events. The sound is fabulous. I mean, it was a very beautiful experience and I, for sure, will return for another event. The events organized there are top notch! I highly recommend it!

This place is spectacular inside and outside, specially inside. Just see the photos. It's a concert venue so it actually is just the lobby and the theatre room, you can see it in 10-15 minutes calmly. But it's breathtaking. Just keep in mind the the visiting times are very limited, you have to check them at their website. Today we could only go either from 9 to 9:30 ot from 17 to 19h, and every day it's different visiting times, but check and go if it's possible. The ticket costs 10 lei, less than 2€, and you buy it there, no need (nor possibility I think) to book in advance, but it is not massified, and the visit is quick, so you won't have problems to get the ticket at the visit times.

Beautiful venue to enjoy a classical concert. Always very popular and well attended. Highly recommended for the experience. Please note that seat 6 for most rows at the back are fold down seats with no backrest. Book tickets in advance online. Many good seats belong to season pass holders.

It is located in the old town, past the government offices, and close to Revolution Square. It was built in the style of ancient Greek architecture and features marble balconies and spiral staircases. The concert hall has excellent acoustics and large frescoes on the walls and ceiling. Concerts and opera can be easily enjoyed here and are reasonably priced. The exterior resembles an ancient Greek temple, while the interior is richly decorated with gold leaf and marble; it was completed in 1897 and is now the home venue of the Georges Enesco National Philharmonic Orchestra. The concert hall's walls are covered with frescoes depicting the history of Romania. Opened in 1888, this is Bucharest's leading concert hall, designed by neoclassical architect Albert Garlon. It is one of the symbols of Bucharest and a place where visitors take photos in front of the building. It wasn't only foreign tourists, but also a group of students on a field trip.

It’s possible to visit Atheneum during morning and afternoon hours: entry ticket costs 10 lei. Is it worth it? Well, I’d recommend to join guided tour or ask for a audio guide (if any). We’ve didn’t take any and that was a mistake. We’ve spent 15 mins inside at most: the concert hall was occupied with a cleaning service so we’ve managed to take few photos and left.
