LOD Concerts

Slovak Port is an excellent place to people watch and just relax. It also has some great walking and bicycling paths to take the family for a day trip in the summertime. But don't forget to take plenty of water!!

Booked a really enjoyable hour long trip on the Danube to see Bratislava from the water. Enjoyed it immensely and thought the €12 ok. Full bar on board and hit a beer for €4. Not sure the boat went all the way to Devlin ruins but was good to see the city from the water and the boat was lovely.

We went on a return trip to Devin castle on Saturday. We booked the tickets online. The price was 20€/person + they offer a 10% discount for online transaction. The boat and the interior are outdated and most parts of the deck are cobered and insulated with fitted plastic windows. The small end part of the deck is uncovered, where all the passengers tried to get in. The seats are mainly dinning chairs with several tables here and there. The lower deck had more tables with chairs. There was also a small bar. No table service or any other service was offered. It took 1.5 hour to sail to Devin and 30min to return to Bratislava.

The working hours on Google are not updated, the office for tickets works longer than stated. It was nice experience to book a round trip to Devin castle and we were lucky to get the tickets for that same day. The boat ride was pleasant, 2 hour stop a bit too short if you really want to enjoy the place and return is very fast. It would be nice to have an audio guide on the way for non-slovak speakers as the guide was presenting a lot of info on Danube but we could not understand it.

I took the boat to Devin castle, the boat ride was nice and on time, but the docking point was difficult to find, they could use better signage.
