Brass Bell Kalk Bay Concerts

The Brass Bell definitely is a restaurant with character. I had the catch of the day. Kingklip. It was beautifully prepared. Food is simple, yet delicious. Waiters are friendly and helpful. I loved visiting the Brass Bell.

Over priced , I&J style fish. I feel they rely heavily on location and popularity but definitely way down ranking in quality and affordability. Many other restaurant options offering real fresh fish and chips and quality seafood vs. what was served here.

I arrived early for lunch and was seated upstairs at the perfect seaside table with the fireplace just steps away on a chilly day. The seafood soup and glass of wine was a great Saturday lunch.

Food for me was jot so great, i had spicy chicken livers, it was not spicy…maybe very mild. But the taste was not to bad. Then i had Fish & Chips, I honestly could say the fish is not fresh and the chips was old.. just heated again. Pool was nice and active and the band was good.

Absolutely incredible restaurant on the water. This place is packed, and you need to book a table prior to arrival. We celebrated a very special occasion here. But it didn't end too great, the food (Mussels) made us soo sick, we believe it was the rich garlic and cheese sauce. I wouldn't recommend the Mussels just for that reason. My wife had the fish and calamari combo, which was really nice and myself the crayfish, wich I didn't enjoy at all, it was super dry and over cooked. I won't order crayfish here again. Next time we will definitely order the fish and calamari combo again, which was soo good!! The atmosphere was great with a lively vibe all around. A proper tourist Hotspot. The service wasn't great and we had to wait quite a while for drinks and to order. They were very busy, so I do understand...
