Boardwalk Hotel, Casino and Convention Centre Concerts 2024

I love this place as a weekend getaway. The restaurants are excellent 👌. Shows at the barnyard theatre is next level. I never stayed in the hotel as nearby places are much cheaper. But it will surely be nice to have that experience. Thank you for a nice vibe and good service.

The service was reasonable for a coastal town. Slow pace, but good! The staff was friendly (Port Elizabeth, the friendly city) The Boardwalk Hotel is a gem, with the scenery and relaxing atmosphere! We spent two nights at the Boardwalk hotel in a luxury king room with sea view. The room was very spacious. The bed was comfortable with a very good mattress (not too firm, not too soft), but the two pillows they provide are way too thick and firm in my opinion. Breakfast buffet is quite good, but the service was not attentive and friendly as I expect it from such a hotel. Parking in the garage is free and the location of the hotel in general is very good.

The rooms are beautiful, it feels like I'm on holiday in another country even though I live in the same town. Service is excellent, the views are awesome overlooking the sea, what more could you ask for. The Casino though needs to upgrade their machines, it's way past due. They've had the same machines for years. If I compare it to other Casinos, I'm afraid Boardwalk does not compare.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms. While I do miss the old setup, with the fountain and lights, the new setup with the mall is also good; everything is in one vicinity, including access to the beach. Combined with the friendly people and staff, made for a very enjoyable stay!
