Joburg Theatre Concerts

Never a dull moment, this theatre literally rocks. We've been to numerous productions and look forward to going back over and over. Well worth a night out, cannot highly recommend enough!

Was a fabulous experience. Went to watch Pantomime Peter Pan. The theatre itself is a bit tricky to get to, but Google maps managed. Area feels safe and has a great night life. Parking filled up quickly but there was enough further down the basement levels. Theatre staff are great and friendly. Snacks are priced similarly to cinemas. The show was incredible, would definitely visit again.

World class entertainment that never disappoints! Different types of shows and productions to suit everyone. Lighting and sound top class! The restaurant is well run and the bars provide slick service. Plenty of underground parking but I’d advise setting some time to get into the garage as it can get very busy.

Definitely doing this on a monthly basis! What a pleasant experience. The theater was really clean and cozy. The main entrance is so precious,my friend and I had some nostalgic memories revisit us as we looked at the star plates of the likes of Sibongile Khumalo, Brenda Fassie, Miriam Makeba, and Hugh Masikela. The staff at the theatre were very friendly, professional and welcoming. The theater we were in had a rotating stage which allowed us to engage with the characters and the storyline a bit more. The way it built allows for deep connection and unlocks another dimension among the art, the artist and the viewer. To say that we enjoyed it is an understatement.

What a treasure. Hopefully it will see some investment to maintain it as it is looking a little tired, but it still performs beautifully. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was fine and we would support it again. We were there for the Queen show. Great acoustics and lighting. Fantastic show.
