The good: Close to the metro station, lots of toilets, good sound The bad: Limited food options. Just sandwiches, burgers and hot dogs. Nothing for vegetarians let alone vegans, and gluten free folk go hungry too.

Very big and noisy. Parking was completely dark and very expensive

Wonderful arena. The security were nice and kept the people lining up for the concert in order. The arena was clean during the time of the visit. No problems were found during the visit.

As arenas go this is vast and somewhat heartless and lacking in atmosphere. The sound was very good.

We went to see Rosalia who was of course... Incredible. I am a wheelchair user so me and my husband had seats in the reduced mobility area. on one hand; the BEC was great; good access with lifts and easy to find. The staff were very nice and helpful, very friendly and accomodating and let us through very quickly past the que of people. Although as someone else has mentioned here there were 0 security checks on me or my husband or anyone else we saw. That worries me a little for a big concert. Once we were into the reduced mobility area I was kind of disappointed to realise that the area was essentially just the main walkway and entrance for EVERYONE in that area to run and walk back and forth from their seats to the bar, hundreds of people. I understand people like me with disabilities aren't royalty but I do think we deserve more than being fitted into the main walkway as a sort of afterthought. In other concerts I've seen and been to around Europe the disabled area is usually separate from the main walkthrough areas so I think it isn't hard to create a proper reduced mobility area separately. Not only was it frankly quite scary for me in the wheelchair it was also very difficult for the huge groups of standing and walking people to get past our wheelchairs with a few people tripping. We planned to leave before the final song because we knew if we waited we would be stuck trying to exit with hundreds of other people without any escape. I think Bizkaia arena could review their disabled seating areas and change some things to make it accesible. (Remember accesibility isn't a luxury, it's just what's needed for everyone, on different levels). I echo what others say about the lack of ventilation (in July in a heat wave in Spain doesn't make much sense). I also think it's worth staying that if you're a wheelchair user we decided instead of 'walking' from the nearby hotel we took the car and parked so we bad direct access to the building from the Car park via a lift as opposed to having to walk all the way around as I was told we couldn't use the closest south entrance only north main and another.
