BlackLab Brewhouse & Kitchen Reviews

Went out for dinner and was not disappointed. Location is fantastic just a short walk to port, and probably 10-15 min walk to the beach, the service was pretty great, when we went they were very busy even with that servers were still friendly and welcoming and were prompt with delivering food and drinks. Beers were great and food was excellent. The Oktober Lager stood out as a well-roasted malt, and the IPAs were hoppy. The beef ramen was very good and a big serving. Happy hour from 4-6 had 5 euro pints, sangria, and mojitos.

2 visit here during our trip, 1st in the evening with a buzzing atmosphere and music while we sat outside, Bar man didn’t understand English that well and couldn’t understand my orders for sours or descriptions for a pilsner. 2nd in the afternoon with food which was much better in terms of service, tapas of olives and beer sauce wedges were great but the music was too quiet. All beers were banging and probably some of the best I’ve had in the city. They allow tasters also. More for big meals than just tapa but the mixed olives and chips are a must, Big shout out to Albert for the service and looking out for a table of young guys with thier phones out on show, he was pretty funny too.

Really nice micro brewery. They had 11 of their own beers when we visited with a good variety of styles from a 1.8% IPA through to an imperial stout. Food is also available. There is a daily happy hour 16:00-18:00 where pints are €5.

Decent marina bar with a steam pubk/ grunge vibe. Craft beers were very good and the food met expectations.

Every beer I've tried here was amazing! I would personally recommend the 1480 (APA) and Umbra (Black IPA). The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Thank you for the pleasant experience!
