Marula Cafe Concerts

Thursday nights there’s a funk/jazz jam session, which is fun to come out to and see all the talent. If you know how to play you’re welcome to join in. There was trumpets, violins, keys, bass, drums and electric when I went. €22 for 2 drinks at the bar, €7 cover to get in. Didn’t have good cell reception inside, just an FYI

It was a fun night... For 5 minutes when the dj played super freak otherwise funky jazz, disco but not the commercial one just the unknown ones if this place would play disco it would be the place to be for me in town. Hit and miss unfortunately. Great big enough place, great service and good air conditioning not too hot at least in the winter.

Fantastic night and definitely coming back. Went on a Thursday night and different artists and band members played a cool jam session. The entrance fee is 7€ and it includes a drink at the bar (beer). The place is big enough but gets crowded fast. I highly recommend this place if you are in the mood for a different vibe than going out clubbing, since this place offers a different mood than clubs and is full of nice people and some good dancers. FYI, on the day I came there was no place to leave coats/jackets so be prepared to hold them in your hand or leave them at home.

Go when they have a live band, great music then. Run away when the DJ comes on, the guy is horrible, does not know a thing about music, will not take requests, just awful.

Amazing local musicians’ jam night on a Wednesday. Definitely coming back here for this! Entrance fee is converted into a drink ticket, so don’t be scared.
