Real Círculo Artístico de Barcelona Concerts

I visited this great location to attend to a candlelight concert by the Barcelona Manfred Quartet. The inside courtyard is beautiful and the building has several spaces for different uses, from exhibitions to music concerts to dining, all housed in a historic building right in the heart of the Gothic city of Barcelona

I had this restaurant on my list before I even got to town. It was fantastic. One of the better views in Barcelona. Good drinks, great tapas. Great waiters. And so far one of the best margaritas in town.

Our Christmas holiday was ruined by one individual who was minding the entrance to the candlelight concert. We had front row tickets for the show but we were 3 minutes late. The man insisted that we need to sit in the last row for the whole duration and would not let us enter. He was rude and insisted that he was the boss and we cannot talk to anyone else. He also said, “we can go back and he doesn’t care about our tickets”. He bodily blocked the door! We have never been treated like this and walked out without seeing the show. Tribute to Abba concert became an experience that I would like to forget! This evening was jinxed, on the way to the concert I had a fall and was bleeding on my elbow and had to rush to a farmacia for first aid. However, reached the concert place three minutes late only to be greeted by the most rude, racist Spanish guy ever. Who claimed to be the boss of the place and refused to let us sit in our A Zone tickets. I appealed to his good side (now i know he had none) told him about the accident and that we will sit behind for the duration of the ongoing song and move in between songs. But he bodily barred the door and said, “no we cannot enter and he doesn’t care if our tickets go waste!” Wow seriously, if that’s how Barcelona treats their visitors… We had enough bad luck for one evening. I am still grateful that I am back in my hotel room with no broken bones. Feel sorry for his family to deal with an A*******like him.
