Velvet Room BCN Concerts 2024

Amazing evening at the velvet room, the Sunday night Jam session was fantastic and such good value (free drink included on arrival). The owner and bar staff were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for you! Cocktails and food 10/10. This really is a hidden gem in Barcelona so definitely worth the walk, taxi, metro or bus ride to get there. You won't be disappointed.

We were three of us and we definitely appreciate the staff. Very welcoming and friendly people. We think that the service was perfect. However, we were not very lucky for the live music. It was more karaoke style music than real live music. The singer was not the best but we will definitely come back for other shows we hope we will discover another artist with a higher quality show.

Can’t say a bad thing about this place. The best jazz bar in Barcelona for sure!!! Beautiful and cozy atmosphere (every single corner is so well decorated), gorgeous cocktails very well made (you must try the Amaretto Sour!), great tapas, lovely musicians playing, amazing costumer service - Yode you’re a star! Highly recommend!!! Definitely will come back!

A hidden gem. We stumbled across The Velvet Room just a short distance from the city center, close to our hotel. A fantastic welcome from attentive staff, beautiful decor and delicious cocktails and tapas made for a night to remember. We left in the early hours after sampling more of the excellent cocktail menu than originally planned. The lovely atmosphere, friendly service and live music brought us back the next evening for more!

We had such a wonderful evening at Velvet Room. What started out as a few birthday drinks, turned into dinner - I didn’t realise they did food there, a great selection of delicious tapas – we made new friends and we ended up closing the place! Owner Yode and his staff were charming and made us feel very much at home. Intimate and beautifully decorated, they have live music most nights (check the website) and has the feel of some fabulous speakeasy from yesteryear that only those in the know can get into. Fun game: see how many you can name on the Legends wall! Definitely worth checking out when you’re in Barcelona.
