We've visited here in mid-July. The days were hot, blue skies, no clouds in sight. And still the beach was pretty empty. The most busy it got in the late afternoon, when the sun lost some of its power, but it was still pretty empty. And there's nothing wrong with that, it's just surprising. Because it's a clean, quite wide and soft sandy beach. The water is warm and clean and the ocean is calm, the waves are flat. It's a public beach, so it's best to bring your own gear. There are open showers to wash off the sand. If you don't have your own umbrellas and chairs, then there's a beach bar which has some for rent. The promenade behind the beach is lovely to walk and has some lunch/dinner options. Try Robert's - great food and it's open through from lunch to midnight. A really great beach. Quiet - almost no international tourists (a plus) - a lovely beach to spend a few days at.

Lovely place to just sit there for some relax time, reflect, take in the sun, have a picnic...you name it.

Nice beach, clean water! Unfortunately only little shops and cafés near the water and also 1 hour walking from the center...
