Parador de Cuenca Reviews

It's a place we love. Excellent location, magnificent vistas, dreamlike building. Wonderful service everywhere (reception, bar, restaurant). We stayed 3 nights. The weather was very bad and we took advantage of the Parador facilities.

You can come for coffee by the restaurant inside the hotel (no balcony views if that’s what you’re expecting) but the interior is cozy and artsy. We went here after a visit to the hanging houses of Casa Colgada and crossing the red bridge. There’s a contemporary museum beside it which you can also check out and even buy a postcard for 0,50€ a piece as a souvenir.

Amazing Parador with a beautiful view of the hanging houses. Cuenca I'd self is well worth a visit for a couple of days. Parador is brilliantly situated to see the town, only a short walk to the main square.

Fantastic location, friendly service, and beautifully decorated patio and halls. We loved the ambiance and attention to detail in their common spaces (e.g. restaurant, hall, patio) and would have loved to see more of this in the rooms. Rooms were rather minimalist and dated, and could benefit from some modern upgrades. Nonetheless, comfortable bedding and very clean amenities. Great views onto Cuenca, in particular at night when the hanging bridge is illuminated. The restaurant was incredible, with all dishes prepared with high attention to detail, fresh and local ingredients, and great variety - including options for vegetarians. Especially the foie and the salmon are worth highlighting. We'd love to come back!

Beautiful historic landmark building with breathtaking views of the old city. Service is not the fastest in the restaurant area but it is a pleasant experience.
