We had a great time listening to a Jazz/Folk concert by Oranda during Madrid's City-Wide Jazz Festival. We purchased tickets online to sit in a box seat. After a mixup with the ticket seating, the Pavón compensated us by offering even better seats in another box. We spent 2 hours prior to the start of the concert enjoying drinks and tapas at their bar downstairs. The Pavón is central in Lavapies, which allows for access to many great taverns and restaurants within walking distance after the show, including the oldest tavern in Madrid and reservation only restaurants.

Beautiful theatre but the acoustics aren't great and they need a few more people on the door so they can get people in more quickly and start the concerts on time. Some excellent programming for the jazz festival. We saw Cecile McLorin Salvant and Marcos Valle.
