Auditorio Municipal Pedro Almodóvar Concerts 2024-2025

Nice theatre with good acoustics.

A great and very necessary place in Puertollano. It premiered with the world premiere of the film “Volver” by Pedro Almodovar, a screening that I was lucky enough to attend and of which I have good memories. I don't like that there are no bathrooms downstairs and you have to go up to the first floor, but they are very clean. In general it has a new and neat appearance. It has other rooms in the basements for catering or events and it is surprising to go down and find that entire universe below. It lacks, however, parking because if the auditorium fills up, I don't know where all those people's cars can fit since the street in front of the door only has a row of normal parking spaces and there are no more. Good place to enjoy cinema, theater and various events.

The auditorium is well maintained and better managed. The technical team is wonderful: attentive professionals and good workers. The different performing arts companies that have been there agree on this. I hope that Puertollano and its City Council are valued as they deserve.

The Main Hall has a public capacity for 1,118 people, distributed between the stalls (548) and the amphitheater and stalls (570). It also has 834 m2. ceiling surface and acoustic reflectors, made of eyong wood, specially designed to achieve a studied and careful acoustic quality, which allows its use as an auditorium for concerts or for the performance of plays. I have attended several concerts and shows and I would especially highlight the acoustic quality of the room, since the design allows it to be heard really well from any seat in the Auditorium. Visibility is also very good even in the amphitheater and stalls. Accessibility is quite good and, on the occasions I have been, the air conditioning has always been optimal. As a musician, all the features that I have mentioned are also valued from the stage.
