Casa de Salinas Concerts 2024-2025

A great place to visit and learn about the family that still lives there and about the palace. Interesting to see some of the rooms that they still use today. They have got tours in English and Spanish so there might be a wait if a tour is on. The tour is only 25 minutes and there are in small groups.In the summer the last tour finishes at lunchtime as the family uses the rooms in the afternoons.

I loved this place as there were very few tourists when I went. This is an incredible house tucked away in a busy area and it’s a hidden gem full of classical art, Roman mosaics and Spanish tiles. The 12€ gets you access to the upstairs area through the optional tour which I highly recommend. I was in awe of the beautiful colors and artifacts and the story of the Contessa and her family.

I stumbled upon this place, and was so grateful that I did! It’s a privately owned palace with a long and unique history. The tour is 25 minutes long and the tour guide does a great job of sharing the stories, explaining the ancient artifacts, and describing the amazing architecture of the property. It’s 8 euros, but I think it’s well worth it, especially because the money goes towards the maintenance and upkeep of this special place.

What a find! We were staying a couple of doors from Casa de Salinas and spotted it on our way back one day. So pleased we went in. Beautiful private house and the 25-minute guided tour led by Maria was excellent. Definitely worth the €10 entry fee.

Don't expect to see the whole place as the family still lives there. Nonetheless, the place is beautiful and the guided tour really gives you context of its history.
