Friendly people at entrance, surprising museum with small collection of paintings by Murillo, El Greco and Velazques. The chapel inside is astonishing. The patio needs some cleaning. At my visit there was also an exhibition of Modern Art going on.

The hospital is well worth a visit, the chapel is ornate, a work of art itself, the patio in the sunlight, with the orange trees was glorious, and there are some Valesquez and Murillo paintings to view No photography allowed in the Valesquez room!

This beautiful hospital for elderly and weak priests was founded in 1675 by Justino de Neve and was built in the following 20 years under the direction of architects Juan Dominguez and Leonardo de Figueroa. The building hosts a church with breathtaking interiors and the Velazquez Centre, a exhibition of works of the famous painter, including a portrait of Santa Rufina. The ticket costs 12€ and includes a complete audioguide with 32 tracks.

Absolutely loved the experience! The place itself is a must and their audio guide is a contributing factor to it. The building is well preserved and the collection of paintings is something you cannot miss. Actually it was my best experience in the whole Seville. I spent 2 hours there and I don't regret a thing.
