Pazo Los Escudos Hotel & Spa Resort Concerts

The hotel is beautiful and right by the beach. It is a long (and not nice) walk to town so we ended up having to drive jnto town. The breakfast is ok but not worth the price they charge for it. We had lunch at the cafeteria there. The burgers were really nice. We also had dinner at their Italian restaurant and it was good too. They also have a Galician restaurant which is supposed to be awesome but was closed when we were there so i cant say much about it. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Very child friendly too.

I am doing Camino and just want to stay there spontaneously. First I checked the room fee at front desk and then gave me a rate with 25 euros more than Agoda. Then I finished the booking at Agoda and came back 15 mins later. The staff told me they can’t check me in because the booking hasn’t arrived yet. It is fine. However, they did even want to see my booking confirmation and try to do something. The male colleague even asked me to step aside and call Agoda by myself. Is it really the training of the staff here? If I am a white guy in a suit, would he treat me like this?

Worst hotel experience I've ever had in my life. I was put in a room I didn't choose initially, which also included this lovely hair on the bidet that they never cleaned up before or after my getting there. The next day they passed me on to a room which was more in line with what I had chosen, however the A/C made it impossible to stay in the room, it was either freezing or had to turn it off which made it too hot to stay in. I waited for the whole day for the repairmen to arrive, and they didn't. In the meantime, I got yelled at by the 50 year old bellboy inside my room, who seemed to be the person with the highest authority in the hotel at the time. To not waste any more of the only 3 days I had in Galicia I booked another hotel and left, in order not to spend more time in this disrespectful environment. I of course didn't get my money back for the night I couldn't spend there and pay elsewhere. I was a solo travelling woman. I don't advise going to this hotel unless you're a big family who will make them more money for services than a solo traveller can, maybe then they'll treat you with more respect.

Everything is perfect about this place. We had amazing big room with sea and garden view, with magnificent sun set - this is such a special experience. With great details like huge beds, very soft towels, and bathrobes in female/male sizes. Great access to the garden and beach. Really good breakfast with wide selection of ingridients. Unfortunately we didn't have the chance to use swimming pool area - maybe next time! Free parking space is also unique for such facilities and really nice thing.

Great rooms and service. Their cafe food was great and reasonably priced. There is also a restaurant next door that is open at various times throughout the day. Direct access to the beach if you want to walk along the sandy/rocky shore. Direct trail access for walking, running or biking. If you need to go deeper into Vigo it's a short and easy car ride away.
