Probably one of the best meals I've ever had in Sweden..... Wow, after wow, after wow... Great wine selection also and service! (and IS ADA-friendly!!!!♿️

The restaurant is tasty and nice and the atmosphere amazing. There's so much potential in this place but there are just too many things that aren't nearly good enough for the price and nowhere near in comparison to other places on the island. The pool is a lovely feature but the rooms are severely run down and not very clean. The toilet broke down on every flush (it had gaffa tape on it as some kind of interim solution). The walls behind the beds were extremely dirty, there were bottles and other items from the previous guests on the floor under the bed, we didn't receive any hand towel or stepping towel (in total we received two towels altogether), the rooms weren't cleaned while we stayed there and the breakfast was very mediocre with day old bread (seemingly sliced to be served with dinners the night before). Very friendly personnel though and an amazing place to visit for a drink or dinner.

Quite good food, albeit rather small servings, and a bit pricey. Setting is nice and not too crowded. Parking is set on a field about 150 m away from the venue, and is, bit surprisingly, charged at 60 sek....

Food: Breakfast was served on a tray because of covid, it was fresh and tasty with some local ingredients, but always something missing (eg plate, cutlery, napkins, bread). Restaurant was unfortunately not impressive. We didn't find many local ingredients, instead we ate scampi, angus beef and tuna. Main ingredients (eg beef, tuna) didn't stand out because other flavours were overwhelming. Accomodation: We stayed in a cozy corner room with small terrace surrounded by the green garden. A few things were missing: glasses for water, possibilities to drink tea or coffee. Service: Overall very good service with attentive staff at breakfast/restaurant. Environment: Nice garden with games and pool right outside the rooms. Lively evenings with entertainment at the restaurant area. Seemed like the place was not ready for the season yet with junk under our terrace and staff organising outdoor environment. Overall: Good but nothing extraordinary.

This review is for the restaurant only. Let’s start with the positives: food was good and it’s a dog friendly establishment. Minus stars because of service, non-baby (and children) friendly, and parking 200m away where you have to walk along the main road with no curb - especially lovely when it’s in the rain. Did I mention you have to pay. Both the host and our server weren’t friendly. No place to change a baby… we were told to use the single stall bathroom and our server scolded the kids a couple of times bc they were being kids. After asking three times for a cup of milk, we gave up. For great food in a family friendly establishment- go to Surflogiet or Kalkladan Bungenäs.
