Nice open museum with several shops, workshops and cafes! Lovely area to walk and spend a relaxing afternoon. Many of the buildings were so beautiful and well preserved and since they hold business you can visit inside!

This is a cute little museum of how craftsmen used to live and work a few hundred years ago. It’s interesting to visit, however on the day we visited not all the houses to open or the people working. There is a nice little playhouse for kids with a small forgery and kitchen for “cooking”. The Waffel cafe next to the playhouse is ok. Not really special but ok for a fika while the kids play.

A great place to learn about some local history in a very much alive way, and to enjoy some well-preserved old buildings and reconstructed environments. Almost all information is presented in both Swedish and English. I highly recommend coming here when there's some sort of event happening as well, which appears to be quite often.

Excellent local knowledge of the history in the town, and very friendly people. If you enjoy traditional arts and craftsmanship, it is well worth asking some questions!
