Sadly, the products all have that common quality to them that is familiar in Foodservice (a term for multinationals in our business... not that applies literally here, but you get the gist). From the blah apple tart, with custard, you'd think twice about buying a second time from your supermarket to the same quality in the croissant and pastry and their fillings. Only the shrimp sandwich is up to the task. But the service is as excellent as all we visited, and the gardens sublime. The prices are higher than other places we've been to. This is the only non 5 star review in our wonderful week in the Swedish countryside so far.

Absolut jättebra allting. The whole atmosphere, food and service was perfect. Make the effort to travel in the area to see amazing sights and visit Backgården.

We went here today to have some lunch and Fika. It was such a lovely place with wonderful people and delicious food, especially the handmade Canneloni. Definitely one of the best places I’ve ever been.
