Awesome bathing location with some nice parking close by. You have all the facilities you want (toilets and ice-cream) and you can put your blanket either on the sand or the grass or even on the cliffs. Perfect for kids since the water is shallow and clear and if you are grown up you can take a swim and jump in from the cliffs. A must visit if you are in Lysekil and want to take a dip in the ocean.

Lovely beach near to the city centre of Lysekil. Great amenities with a little cafe and toilets. However the amenities such as the toilets are not immediately accessible by the wheelchairbound as they are up stairs in a grassy slope. There is however an accessible ramp for wheelchairs and hard of walking to be able to enter the sea. Great beach for kids learning to swim and toddlers as the waters are not very deep and bottom is soft and sandy. Near the concrete bank on the righthandside also has great sea vegetation in order to catch some good size crabs for the kids so ensure to bring a crabbing rod and bucket for some good fishing when the kids get bored of swimming. In addition, if you do not fancy walking to Pinneviken you can get a ticket with the Citytuffen train that takes you all the way to the beach parking lot. If you arrive by car, you can pay via app or machine, but ensure that you do pay, as the lot is regularly checked by the parking guards! Also do not go with a camper or caravan to this parking lot as it is very very cramped and often packed. Camping at night is also prohibited. If the weather is less promising for swimming, you can also do a trek to the wonderful Stångehuvud natural reserve which have trails starting just by the beach area. All around good fun and well worth a visit.
