Bjerreds Station Concerts

Went for the Sunday roast and it was amazing. Really great value for money and delicious! The staff were really nice and accommodating, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was beautiful. I can only give my warmest recommendations to bjerreds station.

Interesting place really cool decor and lively atmosphere. There is a really pretty greenhouse in the back. Overall top marks for presentation and vibe. The food was interesting but might need simplification. The dish selected had orange slices with goats cheese unfortunately together they curdle on the plate which did not taste good. Also on the same dish were really strong hot peppers the combination was less than stellar, maybe a rethink is needed. The roasted beets were good.

The menu has surprisingly few delicious options among the obvious duds I would never order at a restaurant like sardines served from the can and a Caesar salad. 🤯 The steak on the main menu was however worth the whopping 352kr price tag. It had been smoked and was cooked to perfect tenderness, served with a delicious red wine sauce sprinkled with roasted pata negra. It also came with an innovative purée made of bramble (björnbär) 😋 The wine selection was disappointing, not paired to the dish. To sum it up: expensive menu with a few gold nuggets.

Absolute beautiful place. Remodeled old railway station which is now a stunning restaurant. Staff super nice and food delicious. Enjoy sitting outside or in the garden. Cool order system via app and fast service.

Newly opened as of July 2021, very promising - will come back to check if it's 5 stars in a month or two. Inviting environment and interesting menu - with slightly varied results. The scallops were absolutely amazing! The tomato salad to go with the local halloumi variant was likewise great - but the cheese itself ("eldost") was rather bland. The beef tartar was well handled, but some spice in the recipe made it a bit unsavory and we didn't finish it. The pork rillette had high marks, but the bread to go with it was a little bit less inspired; and the lobster salad was on par with most caesar salads. Very attentive and friendly staff though, and a decent selection of drinks. Overall we came away with a feeling of high potential, and hope that after a bit more time it will have found its stride (and maybe that the dishes will feel a bit less fatty).
