Volkshaus Zürich Concerts 2025-2026

Volkshaus is a traditional restaurant in Zürich in a historic building. The staff also behaves accordingly and is very kind and service oriented. Hand in hand with this, the food is also good. I was in Volkshaus in autumn so it was season for “Wild” so fresh meat from the annual hunt - delicious! When having the daily special meet option, a gentleman comes to your table with a big tray and serves it in-front of you. In general: would recommend the restaurant.

It’s an upscale, old-Europe restaurant and that’s a vibe that you’ll have pleasure experiencing there. We had some game goulash - very tasty - and truffle pasta , but it could’ve been better seasoned. The game came with pumpkin spaetzli but i didn’t feel the pumpkin much. For dessert we took a non traditional version of a tiramisu - I’d have preferred if it was a well done original. I was a bit disappointed by the waiters of whom we had two, but who were somehow not appearing at right times and we had to wait a while always; maybe add more staff ?

1st time to go to a Ballet in Switzerland. It was very interesting since I didn't know what to expect. Experience was ok and everything went according to plan. The Nutcracker was very enjoyable and was nice to also see families with their kids in the ages 7 to 12.

Amazing food and changing, seasonal menu. Excellent and attentive service. Feels super cozy, like a place you want to bring your friends and hang out at.

The service personal was absolutely up to the game. Highly professional which help us to have a successful Charity Quiz Night.
