Weisser Wind Concerts 2024

I was on a solo trip to Zurich for a couple days and stumbled across this Swiss restaurant. I walked in and asked the host what she would recommend and she was an absolute delight. She recommended some great food, was very friendly and gave me an amazing experience. The food itself was fantastic, everything tasted fresh, succulent and made with love. Overall I had a fantastic experience and highly recommend to anyone who wants to try Swiss cuisine.

We were walking through historic Zürich and were drawn here. The moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with such warmth. It was very busy, always a good sign. The staff greeted us so kindly with our broken German. Not to worry, English is spoken here. The FOOD. Everything is locally sourced, organic, just as fresh as it can be. Many of the menu items are local favorites, but they make a special point of letting you know that the source of the meats and fish are places that ensure animals are treated with care and respect. Our server Sandra is an angel! We decided to roll the dice and do a three course prix fixe at the chefs discretion. Holy moly, we couldn't have been more happy. Mind you, we had no dietary restrictions, but they asked if we had any allergies or food diversions. We have attached photos… There was a gorgeous pea soup with Peppermint oil, a veal pate that was out of this world, and a beautiful sirloin in a red wine reduction with wild broccoli, white asparagus, and potato gnocchi. Dessert arrived as a flourless chocolate cake, a sour cream gelato and fresh berries with berry sauce. The chef then came out to say hello and introduce himself, and with that came the most extraordinary, local to Zürich Grappa. I noticed a couple sitting across the way from us. I think they were newly married, and we're so happy and in love. I looked around the room, and every single face that I saw was happy and content. We highly recommend you come here for a perfect, Zürich and Swiss flavored experience!!!

The service was super slow it took one hour for the main dish to arrive. The service is not that friendly too. There were small flies many of them! They don’t have baby seats as well. The food was ok and they have vegetarian options. Just all in all we didn’t enjoy dinner at all. It was crowded the servers was overwhelmed and were slow to get the order and deliver the order we wish we had left already since the main meal took such a long time to arrive. We had the mushroom stroganoff( was a bit spicy) spinach soup (was ok) and the lentil dish was the best.

Superb traditional Zurich cuisine, good wine, good vibes, totally recommend for an authentic dining experience!

Very Swiss. Great history and good food. Staff did a great job accommodating our large group. Wish I could give 4.5 stars
