Marmaris Amphitheatre Concerts 2024

Free to get in, No show when I went, just an empty amphitheatre, enjoyed walking around, Good views, if your near its worth just popping in

We walked passed this first of all as looked to new. No ticket is needed and we were the only ones there at ten in the morning. It is huge and spectacular.

This appears to be of modern construction. Not ancient. When I went it was closed so I had to stand outside and look in. It was only mildly interesting. Not particularly worth going. No information was available.

We went there to look at it from the outside. Looks like it was renovated and it seems to have lost its charm in the renovation. We found the Miletus Amphitheatre is more impressive.

On arrival asked the gentleman working there if tickets are needed to enter and just have a look around, I was told yes and when asked how much the gentleman typed on his phone 227, I asked if this price is in liras and he just said ‘euro’, afterwards he did some calculations on his phone and showed me 92 and said ‘euro’. After this we told him no thank you and started to leave, which is when he ran outside after us and started shouting, trying to get us to purchase tickets for €8.10 I could not find any entry fee online and after looking at reviews I can see that nobody else has paid to just have a walk around. Not sure if he was trying to scam us or sell us some event tickets.
