Datça Amfitiyatro Reviews

The theatre hosts a good amount of artists and shows for it’s size, so if in the area I would recommend to go to any of the concerts.

Oh such a chaos in case of a concert. But listening Fazıl Say alive made me forgive everything.

Apart from concerts, he doesn't have much visual distinction. There is not enough information. You come across name and artist posters at the door. Entry is free. There were preparations for the concert when I went. I came across the Cem Adrian concert. It was nice to listen to a concert. The ground is hard, you need something to sit under you.

I was curious about the atmosphere before the Cem Adrian concert and luckily there was a free event. I had a chance to see how the acoustics and viewing angles were. Lights can cause temporary blindness if they accidentally hit your eyes, like a ship's searchlight. The acoustics are not bad, but the sound from the four tower and two monitor speakers does not come out in a very good performance. OK, the microphone is mono and there is a mono instrument, but it's not something I don't worry about. As for the venue, it looks very compact. You can see everything on the stage even if you are sitting far away. I have a lot of experience in Harbiye Open Air. There are places I usually prefer because of the acoustics. I couldn't see the soloist or the band clearly in any of them. Our problem is live performance and acoustic pleasures. Here the stage is almost in front of you. I don't know exactly, but from the image I think it is a venue for about 1500 people. The front facade that directly sees the stage can accommodate 400 people; the right and left sides can accommodate 500-600 people. The left side has an extra view of Datça Harbor outside. Bring something like a cushion or buy one if they sell them. The padding between the stones can bother your stomach after a while. I think I've done enough feasibility. I'm outta here for ice cream. It offers a very safe, cheap and quiet night accommodation with a beautiful view for caravanners who want to stay in the center of Datça.
