This was maybe the best expo venue I've ever been to! We had an amazing time as a company, Nauticus Robotics, having a booth here. Price points are very reasonable!

I was there today for an event as an exhibitor. The venue is great and spacious. The ops staff are spot on and helpful but security do know what day it is. To be honest it was quite laughable. However it's the price for food and drink that lets it down as a venue....

Firstly, I want to distinguish between the event we attended and the venue. The event was fantastic. We loved it. We did not love The P&J Live! The whole experience was horrendously organised and woefully overpriced! Be prepared to queue everywhere, for everything, for a long time. Once you are inside the arena itself, there is very limited and very poor signage, with event staff giving directions based on perhaps what star sign you are or what day of the week it is. The food and drink is shockingly priced! It is more expensive than London I'd wager. 20 quid for 2 pints and a scotch pie is not a "deal". £8.50 a pint. Nothing is signposted at the end of the event. You're left to follow the crowds to find the buses. It's a shambles. If the event you want to attend is on at The P&J, don't. See it at The Hydro. It'll probably still work out cheaper.

The venue was clean & tidy and well heated. It was easy to find and the parking was good. The food from the concessions was awful. Nothing fresh or healthy was available, not even something simple like fruit. Most of the food was deep fried or reheated. The serving staff were friendly and efficient. The choice of soft drinks and alcohol was good, but the coffee was very low quality. A good venue, but they need to seriously raise the bar with fresh, made the same day alternatives to their burger bar menu. Bring your own food.

Went to the P&J live for Aberdeen ComicCon 2023. Comic con was amazing and the building is beautiful. This is all completely let down by the fact that the P&J are happy to charge £3.70 for a 500ml bottle of Coke zero or £12 for a VERY small pizza because they KNOW nothing else is nearby. The venue is practically in the middle of nowhere with no local shops and they know they can rip people off because their is nothing else nearby. Nobody is forced to pay these prices but it shows a disgusting level of respect for the people who have already paid a ticket fee to enter your venue. Parking is also expensive (£14.50 for 5 hours).
