Brasenose Arms Concerts 2025

My self and my daughter popped in for a bite to eat. The kitchen was just closing but they were still happy to let us order. The service was wonderful and nothing was too much bother. It’s a beautiful pub in a lovely location. There is a full page of events for the year which sound fantastic and I can’t wait to pop back once the weather improves now my daughter will be working close by. Only really slight criticism is the Bakewell Tart, which was delicious should be served warm and not cold because it would be far nicer with the clotted cream on top.

Fantastic meal. Huge portions and the food was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the Brisket and Guinness Pie if they have it on! To top it off, they gave my daughters an Easter egg as well. Pay these guys a visit, you won't be disappointed x

A small group of us, with dogs, enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch. Our group had gluten free requirements,and also vegan and gluten free needs. This was all dealt with in a very professional manner. The dogs were all given treats and fuss. The staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating, and the food was fabulous!

Lunch here on Tuesday 26th March. An excellent lunch. I had the Steak and Ale Pie my wife had the salmon. Both were well cooked and presented. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pub had a nice atmosphere with friendly customers. Pleased we stopped off for lunch.

Food and service is excellent. Atmosphere really nice and in a lovely little village. We had a Sunday lunch here, which was exceptional and the way it was served onto the plate was very unique and pleasing to the eye. We also had a mid week dinner, one day which was again very very good but be warned the portions are very large!
