The Anvil Concerts 2024-2025

We attended the Anvil on Wednesday. It was a treat for my mum's birthday to watch 'That will be the day'. The band were amazing, performing songs for music from the 50s through to early 80s. Some stand up comedy thrown in too which was very funny and had everybody laughing. We were encouraged to get up and dance at the end. It was three hours long. We had an interval after 1.5hrs. the bar was well stocked with drinks and also a snack bar. No where near as much seating as needed though. Friendly staff, clean and tidy. Would definitely checking this theatre production out.

Great night watching a tribute band. Place was comfortable and for me had leg room, often an issue in some places I have been. Easy to get to and fro from.

This is a great theater. Smaller and more intimate than the big theatres but still attracts good shows.

I've never been to this venue before and found the route off the M3 very easy to follow and signage to the carpark. It was a short walk with an efficient working lift to the main entrance. Ticket checking and acknowledgement were straightforward, and the seating was comfortable and easy accessed. Will definitely visit again. Thank you for a very positive, enjoyable evening. 😉

Absolutely amazing kids program organised by Ministry of Science! The theatre looked pretty standard-of course a must for a town-Basingstoke. People love plays and other activities happening here. It seems it is stressed financially in after covid, it is good to see it is still standing high. Plays, Orchestra, local activities to showcase have a place in town. They have online ticketing system along with food and drinks to order in advance. However, just as expected you will be happy to pay premium price for your food and drink. You won't feel bad for once or twice.
