Ulster Hall Concerts 2024-2025

Went here to see Tori Amos with my son. It was a full house as you'd expect but it's a great venue. The sound was amazing and the lighting superb and this is all 'in house' equipment so nothing special which makes it even more impressive. Although Tori didn't do a lot from her back catalogue the new stuff was impressive. The bass guitarist and drummer have to be applauded. It's just a pity that people can't do without drinking at these events and then spend concert time running to the loo. On 27th February we went back to see OMD in concert. If you haven't seen them you are missing out. It was one of the best concerts I've been to and full marks to the guys for starting their UK tour in BELFAST.

Nice old venue with great atmosphere to watch "Cirque - The Greatest Show Of All".

Lovely venue and even lovelier staff. One star deducted for the sound system in the place...it seriously needs updated. The only speakers are at the front of the stage, so my advice is to always buy tickets for the ground floor. Also, the front row seats on the balcony are mad. There is no space to move past people if you're in the middle of the row.

Glen Hansard 18/12/23- nothing wrong with Glen or Ticketmaster - this is for the venue operation or event-sec staff - they caused issues by stopping patrons re-entering the concert standing area (after using the lavatories, phone calls or purchasing drinks within the rest of the venue grounds). Stated they were “trying something new” and that patrons couldn’t enter until the current song was over, therefore missing the vast majority of some songs. Some doors operated this, others didn’t. At times I was stopped, I was kept stood beside the doors that continued to open to allow people to exit to go to the lavatory, also get hit and injured by the doors as those feeling unwell were rushed out the side doors. The large double doors were regularly opening anyway due to ppl exiting, just let those who exited back in. Having event-sec ‘doormen’ covering the internal doors in this manner is not called for and spoiled this experience.

Great night at The Stranglers. I love this venue.
