Hare & Hounds Concerts 2024-2025

Great venue and vibe at the gig last night, with friendly staff and crowd. Conflict Choir were excellent and the other musicians were brilliant too. Fantastic to see so many people coming out to listen and enjoy the music, will definitely be going again.

Visited the venue for the 1st time to see Chuck Ragan of hot water music. There is no onsite parking but plenty of parking in side roads, a nice old pub, plenty of bar space and seating. Food can be ordered at the bar, and you get paged when it's ready. To enter Venue 1, you have to exit through York Road entrance and wait for doors to open. Stairs then lead to venue which is above the pub. Decent sized bar and facilities. Nice high-quality audio setup, little distortion while Chuck Ragan played live. Please note that you can't turn down York Road due to the pedestrianised area. I parked on Heathfield Road. On the whole a great evening at the venue.

Lovely pub with traditional features. Dog friendly, but quite an unusual experience. Staff member wanted to say hello whilst he was on my gfs lap, then went to say hello to him, but then said we don't let dogs on sofas. Very weird when he encouraged our dog to be on the sofa to say hello.

I have seen several shows at this venue (specifically Johnny Foriegner) and their staff both at gigs and on general serivice have always been super swell. Their staff genuinly give 5* service i have not seen in other buisneses

What an incredibly lively place! Fantastic live music, great atmosphere, and it's so impressive that so much of the original Victorian decor and features still remain. Highly recommended 👌
