Mama Roux's Concerts 2025

This place is fantastic for live music, we went to see High Fade, live music in all rooms! House band was also very good. Overall we had a really good night, mixed age group of people. I highly recommend it as a venue, we didn’t eat.

Saw Lynks and Shelf Lives here for a gig....great little place cold but warmed up when the crowd got going. Good sound, nice staff great vibe worth checking out for live events

Went to see Sipho (amazing up and coming local artist) at Mama Roux's. The venue was perfectly designed for intimate shows like this. The staff were very friendly and the astomsphere was chilled. The real star of the night (aside from Sipho and his band) was Mama Roux's sound system. Damn! The speakers and bass were amazing, we felt the vibrations through our body and it truly showcased the hell out of Sipho and the live band. The crowd was a mixture of people from different backgrounds and walks of live :) Can't rate the food as we didn't eat, but the drinks were standard. Service was a little slow, but that was a minor. Perfect venue to support your local artists. Would 100% come back and do recommend.

Everything is perfect from the staff to the vibes, felt welcomed and cared for from the front door at security to the bar staff to the djs. best place around

Attended Room 187 at Mama Roux’s (didn’t eat so no score) - great night! - friendly atmosphere, front and bar staff lovely, everyone was chilled and out for a good night 😊 RNB Karaoke and 80’s 90’s hip hop and RNB classics - well done Room 187 - come back to Brum soon 🙌🏾 oh yeah - a few of us were born in the late 60’s - just saying! 😆
