An amazing, and huge arena, with loads of eateries, and places selling alcohol too. The seating was comfy, which was a bonus. However I didn't sit much, due to the Keane concert. Amazing !!

Visited the arena a few times now. Easy to get around and well sign posted for access areas. The food places on the lower tier of the arena (outside) close early, 7pm! Which I found strange. Inside, the food and drinks are eye watering expensive. £15 for a small size fish and chips and almost £4 for a large soft drink. Staff were extremely helpful. The seats are decently spaced but not very comfortable. I unfortunately found myself fidgeting a lot to keep the circulation. Sitting for 2hrs+ does become somewhat uncomfortable. The seating layout and view to the main stage and show are have always been good.

Went to the BBL semi-finals in late January. The basketball was great and the atmosphere was fantastic whilst watching. There weren't any queues when we arrived, which was good. We were seated pretty quickly. All staff were very pleasant. The biggest negative was that the prices for refreshments are absolutely ludicrous! £12.95 for a small slice of pizza/hot dog and a small tub of fries!? £4 for a small bottle of water!? The pricing structure is so exclusionary! The BBL event attracted a lot of children/young people/youth groups. Such pricing structures immediately exclude those with financial struggles. I appreciate that there's a mark-up because of the venue, but honestly, it was truly heartbreaking to hear parents having to tell their kids they couldn't have anything to eat for a 5.5hr event. If you're going to the arena for an event, make sure you've got a lot of money for your refreshments or hold out until you leave!

Saw Olivia Rodrigo here last night- was a great performance. It was our first time at Birmingham Utilita Arena but 8t was a great experience. We weren't quite for long and the staff were helpful. Lots of food and drink places inside. Even though its a big sold out arena it didn't feel packed, we had space to stand and dance. A great venue.

The shows are good, they support a number of hosts and the staff are helpful. The place is easy to get too and can easily find your way around. (Not too sure about wheelchair access). Downside is the chairs are so uncomfortable considering you’re sat for 2 to 4 hours sometimes. The refreshments and food is extortionate! You can easily spend £20 on yourself for a small fish and chips, no drink.
