Great venue, sound system and vibe. Sick music all night, DJs were all superb. I'd definitely go to another Essence of Chi night or something else if the line up was right.

I came to see Sam Gellaitry live here. Good sound system, good visual lighting, and the people are relatively relaxed. Good place to let loose if you're looking for contemporary house music, deep house etc.

came here for a UKG/Bass night, tidy lil venue for music events. Not too crowded, drinks prices are same as other bars nearby, bouncers are pretty friendly, and a very spacious smoking area.

Went here on a Sunday night to watch a band called 'Tankus the Henge'. Very impressed by the speed of service and the decent range of beers, plus the security guys being non-jobsworths was a welcome and happy change of pace.

Sound system isn't great when I've been over the years, security are nice enough and staff are fine. Toilets are pretty grim as expected. Just doesn't really have any kind of atmosphere! Not a great space.
