Great cafe and nice place to walk around as a venue

Visited just green grounds. I will definitely come back in warmer times.to walk around. Lovely landscape, and deers... It's a beautiful place to walk, take friends and family to.

Beautiful. So many activities too! Lots of walk options. Family friendly, adequate bathroom and bin provision even for the huge space. The cafe does fabulous cakes especially the cinnamon pretzel twirl pastries- they were amazing. Child seats available, all on flat ground, no need to use steps so fab for buggies/ wheelchairs. Very dog welcome (inside and outside). The gardens are a beautiful mix of trails, woodland spaces, open spaces, the flowers and plants are beautiful and varied and some of the trees are incredibly old. Definitely worth a visit. Carparks use ringgo app.

Never tire of walking here, woodlands are fantastic at this time of year. The stag was very vocal, calling his herd, wonderful to hear

Apart from parking it’s a free open space, beautiful walks around the ground can take hours as you get lost in the expanse of the area. Wonderful views of the city and plenty of deer. The house needs a bit of TLC, but the cafe is nice with lovely cakes.
