St George's Bristol Reviews

This is a beautiful, clean and well designed venue! Further to this the staff were lovely and made my concert experience great.

A brilliant music venue in the heart of Bristol. World class acoustics and facilities make this a wonderful place to listen to music of all sorts. A very varied menu of acts and genres of music to enjoy plus thoughtful and inspiring spoken word events. A beautiful main space, a great cafe and a flexible second hall.

Went to a live music gig here. I thought the venue was fantastic. Modern, clean interior. Ticket desk on the left as you walk in. No queue there or for the bar. Friendly bar staff who impressively remembered our order at half-time. Seated throughout, apparently seats about 200 people in the main hall. Beautiful lighting. A civilised live music venue which supports really high quality, alternative artists. Highly recommend a visit. ADDENDUM: if you are fussy about sound, don't choose seats too far forward, otherwise you'll be in front of the main speakers.

We went to watch a choir and orchestra here performing some famous classical pieces. It was a highly enjoyable evening! We were on the upper floor, roughly inline with the front of the stage. We had an excellent view but the wooden pew-like seating made it necessary to twist slightly, which got a little uncomfortable after an hour or so. Next time I would probably book seats further along so no twisting was necessary, or sit at the far end. The bar has a nice relaxed and open feel to it. A very nice experience all in all.
