Decent enough small upstairs venue, providing plenty of global music, with a raised stage and chill-out areas. Not a place to get paralytic - on leaving, you'll descend the steep narrow stairs more quickly than you anticipated.

I love going out in Bristol and the Jam Jar is my favourite venue. It's a clean safe environment where everyone is welcome to enjoy new and interesting sounds free from judgement and discrimination. The managements love of creativity, music and fun clearly shows through every aspect of this venue!

Unconventional, bringing excellent rising musical gems, all great beats from across the globe. It offers one of a kind line up, so different from what you can usually find in Bristol. Perfect place for afro-brasilian and Colombian beats lovers. A venue with quite music fest psychedelic environment with a really cool sort of street art on its walls.

Lovely venue with great atmosphere, we had an amazing time! The music was way too loud though for those of us without hearing damage (yet)... Shame to ruin something great like this. I know this is the club standard but I think it should be reviewed, would probably improve most people's experience.

Brilliant venue. Community vibe. Great staff. Good selection of locally sourced beers and ciders. Amazing artists and workshops hosted there. It's my favourite venue in Bristol- a special place to visit.
