Ballygally Castle Hotel Concerts 2025

Easy to find. Beautiful grounds to wander. Our room was comfortable and clean. Dinner at the restaurant (not included) was delicious and breakfast, typical "full Irish" (included) equally good. They've done a good job retaining the original castle structure and integrating it with new construction. There were many tour groups there while we were there, and the vibe of the whole place felt "old people" to me. I found the decor (lobby and guest rooms) a little tacky - I can see how they were trying to achieve a "castle-y" feel, but they didn't pull it off.

End of March 2024 Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay @ the Ballygally Castle Hotel Accommodations: Room type~superior family room 1 Queen & 2 Single Beds Our room~ spacious & overlooked their gorgeous gardens with daffodils & tulips in full bloom. I also took a stroll on the beach in front of the hotel at sunrise, and WOW, what a location! Our bathroom~ terrific water-pressured shower with heavenly Bergamont & Jasmine scented toiletries. Dining~ we dined in their restaurant, “The Garden” for dinner. Menu choices were unique and plentiful. Same for included breakfast the following morning. buffet style. Service~Phenomenal! We reached out to the hotel staff a few weeks in advance to inquire if they might be able to create baskets for our children as we were staying over Easter holiday. They were beyond responsive and helpful and our children were surprised and joyous Easter morning! Huge bonus points! Thank you to Scott, Norma, and everyone else on staff who helped make our stay terrific! Overall, Ballygally Castle Hotel was a wonderful stop for us and we highly recommend it!

Feels luxurious from the outside and walking in the main door, fantastic location literally on the seafront in a beautiful part of Northern Ireland. We had a sea view room which was great because of that, bed huge and very comfy but pillows not great. A few little cleaning details in the room were off and that's why 4 for rooms instead of 5, nothing major though. Food in the restaurant was very good. Staff all very friendly. Great area near the bar to sit and have a drink. Very relaxing feel to the place. Nice touch with the tower that you can go up and see the bedroom at the top. Good base to explore the North from. Would definitely go back.

Ballygally Castle Hotel is a beautiful place with a lot of history and its own ghost! Although we didn't personally make acquaintances with Lady Isabella, we very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Our Coastal Deluxe Double room was quite spacious. It had a double bed, a table with 2 chairs, a wardrobe, a bathroom with a shower and a bathtub, and spectacular sea views! The ladies at the reception were friendly, professional, and accommodating, a quality, unfortunately, not shared by the staff at the restaurant. If you travelled to the hotel by car, I'd recommend skipping the restaurant all together. The nearby town of Larne has a lot of good and reasonably priced food options.

We got married here last week and could not have asked for a better venue. Our guests continually told us how professional they found the staff throughout the day, and how beautiful the venue was. Everyone loved their stay, including the food, accommodation, and the castle and scenery. We honestly could not fault it. Thanks particularly to Katie and Scott for helping our day run so smoothly - you made sure we didn't have to worry about a single thing!
