Three Wise Monkeys Concerts 2025

Always love a visit to TWM. The foods amazing, lots of fun drinks to order, the staff are lovely and there’s always something fun event wise from live bands and poetry open mics to drag bingo and cabaret shows.

Usually lovely food, but this time it was utterly disappointing... Had a family lunch and ordered some of their specialties which are normally mouth-watering. We ordered the Mega Monkey smoked meat platter and everything apart from the chicken wings was reheated and felt as if made hours ago and repurposed. We were particularly excited about the brisket, meant to be slow cooked for 12 hours, but what we were served was cold and dry as a bone (see picture). The regular fries were also cold and not fresh, the sweet potato fries were fine. Again, very disappointing particularly for how long it took, and the price.

Really nice place to grab a decent pint and a really good toastie! We only went for lunch but really enjoyed what we ate. Other punters were up for a chat which made it an even better experience!

l recommend the beer, it's delicious, you can't compare it from a store.

Found this place by a Craft Beer search on Google. Large venue furnished in a shabby chic vibe with a brewery next door. Great selection of cask and keg beers though it looks like there was a real mix of customers (and their dogs/children) present. Very friendly barman who was more than to suggest craft beer types and provide me with tasters. Interesting menu and there was an offer of a light lunch sandwich with a pint option for £10. Good variety of seating with stools, tables and sofas as alternatives. Great atmosphere and somewhere I would recommend/come back to if in the area.
