Great carvery at the Glenavon Hotel. Delicious, wholesome, heartwarming food. The roast beef from McAtamneys butchers Cookstown was absolutely beefy brilliant. All the trimmings on point and the portions are massive. It was like being in the 'Darling buds of May, and Ma Larkin had fed you to bed , busted. Mighty meaty beef and buttery turkey, punching flavours.Scrumptious, flavoursome, succulent, heart pleasing, real food. Loved it all, ate it all. Great setting, the Hotel is very chic and glamorous . Beautiful decor and a lovely chilled ambience. The servers wore welcoming smiles and were very attentive and hospitable. Carvery closes at 230pm so be sharp and get in early. Toilets are spotlessly clean, chic and pristine. Good parking and wheel chair friendly. If you are out and about in mid Ulster check out the Glenavon Hotel carvery , you'll not leave disappointed, just well fed, happy and full of Cookstown goodness 😊 👏👍

A very clean and comfortable hotel with a family feel. Super friendly staff offering great service and great food. A well equipped gym, and great pool & facilities also. I really enjoy my stays here.

Lovely, friendly staff. Entrance is 5 star! Room was a good size but not quite the same standard as the entry areas and the bathroom was just OK, with a full length mirror positioned where you can watch yourself on the loo.

I attended a work Christmas dinner in the Glenavon and was very pleased with the quality of service, food and it was a good price for 3 courses and coffee. It was £23 all in. This was much better than another hotel in Cookstown where I also had a Christmas dinner the day before.
