Pros. Fantastic event we'll laid out. Great staff and very helpful, and a great selection of beers and wines has a good variety of snacks, including tea and coffee ☕️ good facilities Cons The seating is OK, but tight the seat cushions are not that sumptuous on long events ( very thing )

Excellent temporary accommodation for the Orchard Theatre. Seats are not as bad as some reviewers make out and the “tent” is perfect. Staff as brilliant as usual.

A really good venue, for a temporary structure whilst The Orchard is sorted out. The view isn't as good because the stalls aren't inclined. The chairs aren't as comfortable. But, given it was a quickly erected space I think it's really good. Well done to all involved.

I went to see sleuth last night. I enjoyed the play but felt our experience was let down by the venue. We sat in row x which is near the front of the tiered seats. We found it difficult to hear all the dialogue clearly so it must have been worse if you were sitting further back. The theatre was only 20% full with most people sitting in the untiered part, though why you would have a non tiered section is beyond me as anyone short would have their view blocked by the person in front. The seats were really uncomfortable with no padding;I had to keep shifting position to allow feeling back into my butt cheeks. It was also quite cold and I had to put my fleece back on. I only wish I had brought a seat cushion and a blanket. Considering we had paid £39 per ticket I was not impressed with how orchard west stacks up against the original theatre and I, for one, will not be returning to Dartford until the old orchard theatre has reopened.
